Cubold Rewards Privacy Policy

Cubold Rewards is a browser extension made by Skyfield Digital LLC, operating as Cubold Gaming ("we", "us"). It lets viewers earn points for watching Cubold Gaming videos on YouTube, and trade those points for discount codes on cuboldgaming.com. This policy explains what the extension collects, why, and the choices you have. Our general store privacy policy covers orders and the rest of cuboldgaming.com.

What we collect

  • Your email address. You give us this when you sign in. We use it to send your sign in code and to link your rewards to your Cubold Gaming customer account.
  • Your rewards activity. Your points balance, total minutes watched, daily activity counts, login streak, whether you have claimed the welcome bonus, and the discount codes issued to you.
  • The time you agreed to the Terms.
  • Technical connection data. Like any online service, our hosting provider sees your IP address when the extension connects to the rewards service. We do not store it with your rewards data.
  • A customer record in our store. If you do not already have a Cubold Gaming customer account, signing in creates one for your email on cuboldgaming.com, tagged "YouTube Rewards". It does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

What the extension reads on YouTube

The extension runs only on youtube.com. To award points it looks at which video you are on, whether it is a Cubold Gaming video, and whether it is playing. It does nothing on other channels' videos except check that they are not Cubold Gaming videos. It does not read your YouTube password, your watch history, your subscriptions list, or any other page on the web.

What is stored on your device

Your sign in token and your extension settings are saved in your browser's extension storage. Signing out removes the token from your browser.

How we use your information

  • To run the rewards program: award and take back points, apply daily limits, and issue discount codes.
  • To sign you in and keep you signed in.
  • To prevent abuse, such as bots, scripts, and multiple accounts collecting the same bonuses.
  • To answer your questions and requests.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a few service providers to run the program, and they process data on our behalf:

  • Cloudflare hosts the rewards service and stores rewards data.
  • Resend sends your sign in code by email.
  • Shopify runs cuboldgaming.com, stores the customer record, and creates your discount codes.
  • YouTube is contacted to confirm that a video belongs to Cubold Gaming and to show the latest Cubold Gaming upload.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your rewards data for as long as your account exists. Sign in codes expire after 10 minutes. You can delete your account at any time (see below).

Your choices

  • Delete your account: open the extension, go to Settings, and choose "Delete my account". This removes your points, streak, activity, and sign in. We keep only a scrambled fingerprint of your email so the one-time welcome bonus cannot be claimed twice. Discount codes you already received stay valid until they expire. Deleting your rewards account does not delete your Cubold Gaming customer record or order history on cuboldgaming.com.
  • Customer record and orders: to have your Cubold Gaming customer information corrected or erased, email us at the address below.
  • Turn features off: Settings lets you hide your points in the header button, turn off the points popups, and turn off new video alerts. You can also remove the extension at any time.

If you are in the EU, UK, or a similar region

You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to limit or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account in the extension. To use any of these rights, email us at the address below. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

We use your information to provide the rewards program you signed up for under the Terms, and for our legitimate interest in keeping the program secure and preventing abuse. Our service providers process data in the United States and other countries, so your information may be transferred outside your region.

Security

We sign you in with a one-time code sent to your email, so we never store a password for you. Data is sent over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

You must be at least 13 years old to use Cubold Rewards, or older if your country sets a higher minimum age for online services. We ask you to confirm your age when you sign in, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a child has signed in, contact us and we will delete the account.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and significant changes will be shown in the extension.
