Modern Warfare: Warzone has undoubtedly risen through the popularity ranks over the past few months. There are many things to worry about when you are in the Warzone, one being what loadout to choose.
There are many guns to choose from when making your loadout. Not only do you have to worry about what gun to choose, but you also need to decide what perks, secondaries, lethal, and tacticals to choose. To some, this could be overwhelming to decide what would work best together.
So what are Modern Warfare: Warzone’s best loadouts? A lot of loadout choices can be subjective. I’ve put together my top 5 best loadouts based on objective stats and some personal experience.
Loadout 1
Loadout 1 is a great loadout for close to long-range combat.
Weapons
- Primary: PP19 Bizon
- Secondary: Kar98k
The PP19 Bizon is one of the strongest SMG choices. This SMG has great range ability and surprising damage output. A good accompanying weapon to increase your range effectiveness is the Kar98k. The Kar98k is arguably one of the best long-range bolt actions, killing in 1 shot above the shoulder.
Perks
- Perk 1: Double Time – Increases movement speed by 30%
- Perk 2: Overkill – Allows a second primary weapon
- Perk 3: Tune Up – Reduce revive time by 25%
Increasing movement speed gives you an edge in combat situations. having a second primary weapon allows you to equip a longer-ranged weapon for enemies at a greater distance. Tune up comes in handy in tight situations when a friend needs a revive.
Grenades
- Lethal: C4
- Tactical: Stim
C4 allows you to throw it in a location before entering, either to strike fear in your opponent or to clear the room of enemies (Also effective on vehicles). Stim can be a lifesaver in rush situations, and to give advantage in health difference between your opponent.
Loadout 2
Loadout 2 is a strong choice for fast reaction short to medium range combat.
Weapons
- Primary: MP5
- Secondary: MK2 Carbine
The MP5 is often overlooked but is an effective choice for an SMG. Damage output is lethal and handles well in short to medium range battles. The MK2 is a great medium to long-range rifle. Often faster than its bolt rifle counterpart.
Perks
- Perk 1: Double Time – Increases movement speed by 30%
- Perk 2: Overkill – Allows a second primary weapon
- Perk 3: Tune Up – Reduce revive time by 25%
Grenades
- Lethal: Semtex
- Tactical: Stim
Semtex is a fast and lethal option. The Semtex and Stim compliment this fast pace loadout well.
Loadout 3
Loadout 3 is a great rush loadout.
Weapons
- Primary: MP7
- Secondary: PKM
The MP7 is one of the best SMGs to use in Warzone. In many cases, you will win a close-range fight due to the fire rate and damage output of the MP7. A good accompanying secondary is the PKM. The PKM is not only very dangerous at all ranges but especially effective at long range.
Perks
- Perk 1: Quick Fix – Heal immediately after kill 30%
- Perk 2: Overkill – Allows a second primary weapon
- Perk 3: Tune Up – Reduce revive time by 25%
Accompanying the Overkill and Tune up, is Quick Fix. Quick Fix works well with this class due to the close encounters that will undoubtedly happen. Having the ability to heal immediately after killing an enemy will give you the advantage over any other enemies in the immediate area.

- Lethal: C4
- Tactical: Flash Grenade
Loadout 4
Loadout 4 is a solid medium to long-range option.
Weapons
- Primary: M4A1
- Secondary: AX-50
The M4A1 is undoubtedly a solid and popular option. This weapon deals a great amount of damage while allowing you little recoil at great ranges. A great sniper to pair with this weapon is the AX-50. This sniper is a 1 shot kill and is extremely dangerous at far distances. Overall these two weapons are solid choices.
Perks
- Perk 1: Double Time – Increases movement speed by 30%
- Perk 2: Overkill – Allows a second primary weapon
- Perk 3: Tracker – Track enemy footprints
Along with Double Time and Overkill, Tracker is a major perk in this loadout. Tracker allows you to see enemy footprints which gives you an advantage you hunt down your opponents.
Grenades
- Lethal: Claymore
- Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor
A Claymore will help protect an entrance to your sniping position. The Heartbeat Sensor will give you the advantage of finding your opponent in your immediate area.
Loadout 5
Personal favorite loadout that is incredibly effective at medium range.
Weapons
- Primary: AK-47
- Secondary: Kar98k
The AK-47 packs a big punch when facing off against an enemy. The damage output is great if you can get past the recoil. A nice pairing to this assault rifle is the Kar98k.
Perks
- Perk 1: Double Time – Increases movement speed by 30%
- Perk 2: Overkill – Allows a second primary weapon
- Perk 3: Tune Up – Reduce revive time by 25%
Grenades
- Lethal: C4
- Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor
This final loadout is my favorite because of its lethality. The Ak-47 Paired with the Kar98k is a great duo. The perks help support your playstyle and the additional C4 and Heartbeat Sensor increase your advantage.
