Hitman 2 Guide to Sniper Assassin

Sniper assassin is a new game mode that has been added to the series and it basically puts you on top of a cliff or a high place with a sniper, overlooking an area. There are usually 3 targets and a ton of bodyguards for you to take out, but it is a lot harder than it sounds. If any person sees a dead body, then all people in the area will start evacuating. You need to hit your shots precisely and at the right moments to ensure that the bodies are not found. There are 5 really important things you must learn to do well in sniper assassin.

Always hide the body

If anyone sees a dead body, the whole area will be alerted and you could lose the mission. There might be a small hole in the floor or they are next to a body of water. Make sure they are standing still unless you are a really good shot. It will tell you if you successfully hid the body.

Be patient

I know you might want to just eliminate everyone in the first minute of the mission, but if you want to get a good score, you must watch what everyone is doing to get an idea when to attack. There might be a barrel that explodes and all three targets walk right next to it. If that is towards the end of the mission, if you are not patient, you will miss the opportunity. It is up to you to watch and learn what the AI do.

Replay the missions

Just like the main missions, sniper assassin also has a mastery mode. The higher the level, the better your sniper rifle will be. It pretty much upgrades the sniper rifle every mastery level you make it to. The thing is, it takes a while to level up each area, but if you do it right, it will take a lot less time to do so.

Play with a friend

If you play with someone else, you can take out multiple enemies at the same time. It also gives you mastery levels for your single-player sniper assassin. You can talk to each other and watch different areas for the perfect execution of the mission. It is just up to you whether or not you have a friend that owns the game too.

Learn the missions inside and out

The best way to master each mission is to play them until you get every single objective completed. If you need extra help, look up the challenges and find out how to do them. Anything you can do to learn the mission will help.
